NPR tacitly endorses the removal of Long COVID sufferers from public life
This is the best thing I’ve ever read. Should be required reading for literally everyone. But especially the media. Wow.
Long Covid must be denied as awareness makes current government policy deliberately disabling! Denial includes:
1. the sheer numbers,
2. the absolute awfulness of Long Covid as a disease
3. the range and severity of symptoms of those suffering
4. the incredible length of time (permanent?) that it can go on for
5. The total lack of treatment for sufferers (there is no treatment)
6. the lack of solidarity from the rest of society including people's unions, employers friends, and families
7. It's constant increase with every wave of infections (Long Covid is not just something from pre vaccination)
